Biography

DELALI POLYCARP (also known as POLYCARP EDEM KUVODU) is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Hospitality Management, School of Applied Science and Arts, Bolgatanga Technical University. He holds a Doctoral degree in Food Science and Technology minor in Human Nutrition and Food, from the University of the Philippines, Los Baños (January 2022). He obtained Master of Philosophy in Food Science from the University of Ghana, Legon since 2011, and Bachelor of Science (Biological Sciences) from the University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast Ghana since 2007. He teaches courses in food science, food processing and analysis, food engineering, food technology and microbiology, food sanitation and safety, and nutrition since 2012 at Bolgatanga Technical University. He has co-authored several works on Ghanaian yam germplasm. His carrier objective is to conduct research and train persons on food safety, good manufacturing practices, food preservation and food products development in ensuring food safety and security leading towards national development. He is a devout Christian and married with four daughters.
