Biography

DELALI POLYCARP (also known as POLYCARP EDEM KUVODU) is a devout Christian and a Ghanaian from Nkonya Ahenkro. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Hotel, Catering and Institutional Management, School of Applied Science and Arts, Bolgatanga Technical University. He is currently a Doctoral student in Food Science with minor in Human Nutrition and Food at the University of the Philippine Los Banos. He teaches courses in food science, food chemistry, food processing and analysis, food engineering, food technology and microbiology, food sanitation and safety, food additives and labeling, and nutrition. His carrier objective is to conduct research and train persons on food safety, good manufacturing practices, food preservation and food products development. His research areas are focused on processing, storage, and preservation of agricultural produce; food quality and safety management; analysis of nutritional, biochemical, rheological, and textural properties of foods; assessment of sensory properties of food products; food product development; and food survey. He is someone you can trust; He will surely not disappoint.
