The Directorate of Internal Audit of the Bolgatanga Technical University was established in accordance with the Internal Audit Agency Act 2003, (Act 658) to provide independent objective assurance and consulting services aimed at adding value and improving the operations of the University.

The mission of the Directorate of Internal Audit, Bolgatanga Technical University is to enhance and protect the University’s value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice and insight.

Goals/Objectives

The goals and objectives of the Directorate of Internal Audit, Bolgatanga Technical University are to provide independent objective assurance and consulting Services by evaluating and recommending improvement in the effectiveness of the University’s governance, risk management and control processes.

The Directorate of Internal Audit has four main sections. These are:
